There is quite a diversity of genres that perform at the Grind. Ideally the format is songwriter based original material, featuring great talent with something to say. Many of the acts are local / regional but there are a lot of unsigned touring artists on the playbill these days as the Grind is located on the I-15 corridor between Las Vegas and SLC. The room is quite live, yet warm, and seats 80-100 people. Additional standing room is available adjacent to the coffee bar. The Grind has quickly earned the reputation as one of the best sounding small venues in Southern Utah. There is a resident sound engineer and lighting director. There is an established schedule of fees that we feel are fair to both the artist and venue.  Cost considerations  for National Touring acts are upheld by their respective performance contract(s). Independent promoters may rent the Grind’s soundstage provided their prospective talent’s genre is that which is normally presented at the Grind.  For soundstage technical specs click here
